Hi, Product Hunt. I'm Tika, a 14 year old from England, UK. I have been learning to develop full-stack web apps using React for a little over 2 months now. For the past two months, Preplar has been my main focus. So far, from this project I have learned the basics of React, MongoDB and Express. Preplar allows you to view, create and complete your homework assignments. Simply create an account, and add a new assignment with the ‘New Assignment’ button, in which you can add your subject, task and, optionally, the date that assignment is due. You will be able to view this assignment, along with the others on the main app page, along with adding tags for categorising your work, or tasks. I encourage you to try Preplar, and leave feedback for any improvements or suggestions you may have.

@surendra_reddy4 I'm having the same issue. Hoping to use this with my 12yo son who could use some help with organizing assignments. :)

@clayostrom1 ok. Let's wait response from product owner on this issue.

@clayostrom1 @surendra_reddy4 I'm looking into the issue - you should still be able to create/complete assignments, but I see the Complete Assignments is not showing. This problem should be fixed within a few hours - sorry for the inconvenience.

Congrats! This is a great product for just 2 months of using react. Right now it is just for personal use, right? May be interesting to have a teachers access to enter homework for the whole class. Definitely looks better already than Moodle (which my university used)
Tika
@_lhermann It is just for personal use, that's correct - it's more of a homework diary. I know Moodle is similar but is more of a checklist for teachers to set pupils and has a different purpose to what Preplar is. Thanks for the feedback!
