I'm super excited to share Potato with the Product Hunt community today! Here's a bit more context about what we're building.
🥔 Why Potato?
There's a big chance that crypto, NFT & Web3 projects, and the technologies behind them will make our lives easier, solving various problems we're currently facing.
However, the buzz around these industries distracts from the core of the technology. Many scammers, imposters, and bots are making the whole sector unreliable and insecure. Moreover, many content creators can say anything without full accountability for their words.
These problems distract focus from the truly valuable products that develop a breakthrough in the sector. And, of course, investing in such a sector isn't easy.
🥔 What is Potato?
Potato is a web app for crypto & NFT traders. We track information across different social networks to help businesses and investors make more effective, data-driven decisions. For example, Crypto investors and NFT traders can use Potato to discover early opportunities, perform due diligence, and defend their portfolios with real-time alerts. Social sentiment, project price, and volume analysis offer a new understanding. It brings greater context to existing data.
🥔 Development
For months, we've been speaking with hundreds of crypto investors, NFT traders, and members/creators of various alpha groups to learn more about their day-to-day struggles. As a result, we finally came up with a beta version that we believe can help solve the problems mentioned above.
Nevertheless, that's not enough. We have an extensive roadmap of functions and features to be developed shortly to make the user journey seamless and bring a more complex solution to our mission. So stay tuned, and I'll update you with the newest features we're launching soon.

Great question @berkaydin - Thanks! Bullseye index is our experimental score that provides information on how often the sentiment of influencers tweets agreed with the price movement of a project, taking into account only those tweets that were written prior to the price movement ignoring those that were potentially influenced by the price movements themselves.
@ignas_survila sounds like really good stuff! Out of curiosity: do you account for "magnitude" of price movement or is it a boolean negative/positive? Either way, thanks for sharing your work!
