Excellent design acumen, turnkey results. Saved months of the year in terms of design cycles, took lengthy design processes and shortened to minutes and hours.
Hey Product Hunt!
We built Polymet to help you create well designed user interfaces and prototypes without any design experience. You explain what you want or provide an image, and Polymet will design it for you and provide production-ready code for those designs.
You'd be a love Polymet if you:
- need good design but can't afford a full-time designer
- tired of waiting days for simple design changes
- need quick prototypes for customer demos but your design team can't help due to backlog
- tried to learn Figma, and couldn't because it was complicated
Here's how Polymet helps you
🎨 Design with AI:
Create designs by explaining what you want or uploading sketches
No design skills needed - you can make beautiful, functional interfaces
Quickly explore multiple design variations
✏️ Edit like you're working with a real designer:
Make changes using simple English
Select specific elements and request revisions, just like Figma comments
No need to learn complex editing tools
👥 Collaborate with your team:
Invite team members to your projects
Share preview links for quick feedback
Create custom demos for each of your clients
💻 Get production-ready frontend code:
Every design comes with high-quality code that fits your existing codebase
Setup the Github integration to synchronize Polymet with your codebase and to use your design system and component library
🚀 Create complex UI elements easily:
Make intricate components like color pickers, animated dropdowns, and smooth loading animations without breaking a sweat
We will ship Figma and GitHub integrations to work seamlessly with your existing design systems and component libraries in the next few weeks.
If you're working for a large team or enterprise, Polymet can help you communicate your ideas with the team, iterate faster on the design and reduce the backlog by allowing managers to create prototypes instead of design specs and designers to refine the designs after they take it off and your engineers can get the code out or use Github integration to get a PR.
We built Polymet because we needed it ourselves. It's like having a designer and frontend dev at your fingertips 24/7, without the cost or wait times. If design bottlenecks are slowing you down, give Polymet a try. We want to hear what you think and how we can make it even better for you!
@yusufhilmi_ I think thi is theway forward, get your designs from a cool tool like this and take help of cursor to build on top of it. An era of more solopreneur is going to come.
I've been using Polymet and it's awesome. Congrats on the launch. Front end coding makes my head hurt and Polymet means I can get a prototype or idea working for real - with a functional UI - insanely fast!
Rock on team! !🚀 🚀
@chrismessina Hey for sure, check this out:
https://yc-advisor.vercel.app/
Thanks to Polymet, it took less than 24 hours from idea to to putting it out in the world.
It was the first thing I tried. I thought was pretty cool for a one-day side project. It's an app to give feedback and improvements on YC Applications.
It uses a new AI search API we're launching soon with Andi, and was built with next.js on vercel.
I suck at front end coding tbh. I'm definitely a backend API guy. So I could never have done a working project like this and got it live in a day with my front-end skills before.
Background: I'm a YC alum (W22). My co-founder and I try to help as many folks with application feedback as we can. But we can never get to everyone each application cycle who we'd like to help out. So I built this quickly to help with that.
Without Polymet I'd have never been able to do it!
I've also started using Polymet to build new components for andisearch.com itself and more coming soon!
@chrismessina ps they key thing here for me is that Polymet lets you get a working prototype fast. It doesn't replace great design or a great designer. It augments getting to working code. For production use, I'm using it to do prototypes and working wireframes that I then work on with my team mate Darren (who is an awesome designer I've worked with forever) to turn into the final components. Polymet gets you to working code and helps iterate faster. That's different to tools I've used before. But for me it's augmentation not replacement 🙏
