Sometimes an idea sounds good, but it isn't in reality.
Those characters are unreadable by assistive technologies that make your tweets unaccessible.
If you care about accessibility - and you should - please don't use this kind of "hack."
here is an example: https://twitter.com/kentcdodds/s...
@chrishrmnn I care and respect about accessibility.
But Pointnuts is made specifically to speak to the audience on Twitter.
If the audience loves the tone and everything in between, so be it. If not, they’ll tell you.
At the end it’s impossible to make something that everyone will love 🙂
Hello PH!
I've been consistently sharing my startup journey on Twitter, and lately I was thinking about how to make it more engaging.
Surely I should make the content useful, first and foremost. Then usually I insert some emojis here and there (that's why I also made Mumu X). But there must be something else.
Introducing Pointnuts!
Twitter doesn't allow us to modify the tweet style (it's all plain), but making special symbols on Mumu X made me realize that it's possible to have a styled tweet like bold, italic, and even some other cool stuffs (but of course you should use it moderately).
And it's free!
I'm looking forward to see how you would make your tweet more engaging (feel free to @ me on Twitter @wilbertliu 😀). And let me know if you have any feedback about it.
Cheers! 🍻
