While in college, I noticed an alarming trend of cell phone distractions around me in class. I originally built Pocket Points as a tool to help keep students off their phones in class and realized the problem goes far beyond the classroom. In many families, the kids AND the parents are spending too much time on their phones rather than communicating and spending quality time together. With endless entertainment literally at our fingertips, it has become harder and harder to find a healthy balance. We are excited to announce the launch of a new product specifically designed for families. Our mobile app will allow families to create custom rewards to motivate the family to stay off their phones while driving, at school/work, and critical times at home like dinner time or before bed.
