Ploito – a virtual office for remote work. An application for organizing remote work with video walkie-talkie, telepresence effect, burnout prevention and employees health tracker.
Very cool concept! Orba is a fully remote company and we're always looking for ways to more effectively communicate and get our work done, avoiding wasted meetings but also creating a sense of community at work. Ploito seems to be a great channel for this.
Congratulations to the team!!
Finally, a product built with remote workers in mind.
This is awesome.
I'm curious, how does the burnout feature work?
And is there an option for creating personal rooms for brain dumps or work breaks with a colleague?
Hey @anna_kasumova I know this isn't exactly the launch result you were looking for (Gunning for that number one spot, as Ludacris might say). I still think the product seems great! For me I see this as a tool that will help a team save costs and increase transparency/trust between colleagues/subordinates.
What do you see the major (biggest) use case being for small teams?
Hi, Product Hunt Community!
So, what is Ploito?
It's a virtual office with a telepresence effect and a completely new way of communication.
🔷 First of all, we kindly ask you to watch our video attached.
What problems does Ploito solve for remote work?
- Quick communication without waiting for beeps
- Proof of work if your productivity isn’t measurable
- Cheaper than office rent
- DND mode
Our mission is to make remote work transparent and trusted.
We have friends from Africa, and we know how hard it is to find a good job there. If companies were to use Ploito, people from Africa could find a job anywhere in the world.
🔷 And we ask you again to watch our video if you haven’t seen it yet.
@anna_kasumova
Anna, you are onto something great here!
Ploito seems like a seamless way to ease communication with my colleges when we work from home.
We have used Around for more than a year now, and we love the lightness of it, but I'd be happy to try this as well.
On top of this, Anna is one of the few founders I found on this platform who cares and takes the time and effort to provide valuable feedback. Cheers to that, and congrats on the launch!
Best of luck!
This looks like a super cool tool for teams! Quite a novel concept from the tools I'm used to!
I was wondering how the productivity calculation works in the backend? What kind of data is being used?
@ajinkya_bhat Thank you for your support! There are a lot of indicators, based on our special formulas. It was the most interesting thing to do in Ploito. Write me on my contacts, I will explain you with details ❤️
