@phil_co Thanks for your question. Pixela is perfectly compliant with GDPR. Pixela takes cares of injecting the pixel on behalf of other platforms like Facebook, Google Ads or Twitter. The GDPR compliance needs to be reviewed with these platforms. Pixela does not inject first parties cookies nor store retargeting data at all.

@phil_co @juancolamendy The issue is that Pixela, I assume, tracks people prior to them giving consent. You cannot, under GDPR, inject a PIXEL until the user has accepted cookies. I don't know if there's ever any way around this, to be honest? (love the idea of this product, by the way :clap:)

@nutpanda Thanks for your question. You can use custom domain using CNAME records. I'm planning to include geolocations for users. Pixela takes cares of injecting the pixel on behalf of other platforms like Facebook, Google Ads or Twitter. The GDPR compliance needs to be reviewed with these platforms. Pixela does not inject first parties cookies nor store retargeting data at all.

@nutpanda Pixela is perfectly compliant with GDPR. We provide a mechanism for collecting GDPR consents for every visitors that click on our shorten links. How to use this feature? You need to follow the steps: ✅ Go to https://console.pixela.xyz/gdprc... to register your GDPR consent information. Fill out the form with your company name, website url and terms url. ✅ When you create or update a link at https://console.pixela.xyz/links, you have the option to check the option "Add GDPR consent" for that link and select a GDPR consent. Similar to the one created in the previous step. ✅ When the visitors go to that link and before the retargeting pixels are injected, they will see a cookies consent form, to accept either all or some of the cookies. The cookies selected by that visitor are the only ones injected by Pixela ✅ Remember: To use this feature, you must explicitly check the option "Add GDPR consent" per each shorten link.
