Hello fellow Product Hunters! Today I'm sharing an app I've been feverently building over the last few months. The idea started when I was pushing an update for my other Product Hunt darling, Memento (then called Reminder). Memento's App Store screenshots hadn't been updated in 5 years, and were getting pretty out of date. I wanted to give them a fresh coat of paint, but the problem was there were over 700 screenshots to update! Memento supports iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac, iMessage, and most recenly Vision Pro. The screenshots were also localized in 13 languages. This translated into 702 total screenshots! (9 device types * 6 screenshots * 13 languages). I definitely didn't have time to manually update those. So, in December, I started building Picasso to help with this painful process. After getting some early feedback from beta testers, I'm ready to share it on Product Hunt today! > So, what can Picasso do today? - Automatically apply the correct device bezel to your simulator screenshots - Bulk raw screenshot import from the Fastlane Screenshots command (huge time saver) - Direct upload to App Store Connect 🤯 - Export to the filesystem in folders organized by language, with numerically ordered filenames - Easy localization using String Catalogs - A powerful editor that has support for gradients, multiple fonts, blur effects, images, as well as a few other goodies - Support for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, Apple Vision Pro, and iMessage - Picasso is a universal app that runs on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS > Sweet! What's on the horizon for Picasso? - Android and Google Play support - AB testing screenshots in the App Store > Gnarly, radical job dude! So how much is it? - Picasso is completely FREE with the following features: - Create as many project files as you want - Add unlimited screenshots to each project file - Export your screenshots to the filesystem - Picasso Pro is a monthly subscription, and includes the following power user features: - Upload directly to App Store Connect - Localize screenshots with String Catalogs - Bulk import localized screenshots from Fastlane - Advanced editor features like spanning screenshots, magnifying glass zoom, and gradients I'd love for you to give it a try and let me know what you think! If you've read this far, first, thank you 🙏🏻, and second, you can use offer code PRODUCTHUNT to receive the first 3 months at 50% off! Just enter the code in the app settings or on the Picasso Pro paywall to redeem. P.S. I was finally able to run an AB test on Memento's screenshots, and the new ones increased conversion by 34%!!!

@mpdifran Super cool, congrats on the launch! I've been looking for a tool like this. I have a mobile app launch coming soon, so I'll be sure to give it a shot. Good luck today!

I'm in the process of overhauling all my App Store screenshots with Picasso. I used to do this with a generic graphics design tool, which gives you 100% flexibility but also means you have to manually worry about keeping the right aspect ratios for the App Store, properly aligning device frames, manually importing and exporting screenshots and manually uploading them to App Store Connect. Don't even get me started on localization - that's practically impossible if you have more than 2 or 3 languages because the extra work simply wouldn't scale... With Picasso, all this can be automated (from bulk import of localized fastlane output, to localization with String Catalogs and automatic uploading to App Store Connect) 🪄 And the actual design part of the workflow is more efficient as well, because the tools that Picasso offers are highly opinionated (in a good way!) and optimized specifically for the task at hand: creating beautiful App Store artwork! This means the UI doesn't need to be cluttered with features that "a generic graphics editor" would need but that are not relevant for this use case. Wishing you a successful launch day and all the best for Picasso, Mark! Keep up the fantastic work - your tool is a real game changer for indie devs and big app publishers alike 🚀 🤩

@manuelkehl Thanks so much! I think you hit the nail on the head with opinionated-ly optimized haha.

Any plans for 3d screenshot templates?
Mark D.
@sentry_co I just added that to the roadmap! https://features.vote/app/picass...

💡 Bright idea
@mpdifran Also some integration with GitHub action would be cool. 3d + localisation + CI. Then Every release gets fresh screenshots etc. # Ultimate solution

@sentry_co Great idea!
