🚀 Hello Product Hunters! I'm Matt Shumer, co-founder/CEO of HyperWrite. I'm excited to introduce you to Personal Assistant — a new class of AI agent that can operate your browser like a human. For years, the HyperWrite team has been working to build an AI agent that can *truly* act like a human assistant. This is our latest step in that direction. Instead of just another AI chatbot, Personal Assistant is right there in your browser, performing tasks, conducting research, automating processes, and much more. It's a glimpse into the future where AI will be able to help us with nearly any digital task. The key things to know are: - It's free to try out, but for extensive usage you'll have to upgrade (GPUs are expensive!) - Personal Assistant can be buggy in this early phase. V0.0.1 baby! - But when it works, it's mind blowing :) - Upvote when it does something useful to help it learn Take it for a spin: https://chrome.google.com/websto.... Consider this not as a final product, but as a sneak peek into a future where AI becomes an integral part of our browsing experience. Here are some prompt ideas from our early testers: - "Go to Twitter and post a creative Tweet about the new AI Personal Assistant from HyperWriteAI (include this link: https://app.hyperwriteai.com/personalassistant)." - "Go to ChatGPT and ask it some questions" - "Go to my Twitter profile, read through my posts, and give me some ideas for new posts" - "Find the VentureBeat article about the HyperWrite AI Agent and summarize the information. Make sure you scroll down a few times." - "Navigate to Gmail and send a creative one line email to support@hyperwrite.ai thanking the team for their work on the AI Personal Assistant" - "Go to Foot Locker and add a pair of Nike shoes to my cart, size 9" (make sure to watch it closely to make sure it doesn't do anything you don't want!) I'm here to answer your questions about Personal Assistant — this is truly a new frontier for AI. I can't wait to see the creative ways you interact with it and push the boundaries of what technology can do. - Matt

One of the most impressive general autonomous agents I have seen so far. Nice work Matt and team! My team is launching our AI agent product next week, though we went in a more specialized direction rather than building a general assistant. I tried this out early on. Going to give it another try now, and excited to see it improve!

I use Personal Assistant by HyperWrite (especially when using Google Docs) and it's been an amazing product. Saves me a ton of time and is like a "co-pilot for writing"

This is so cool! It's almost like a personal Jarvis (Iron Man) that can do whatever I ask and take over my browser so I dont waste time looking for certain things.

Congrats on the launch. Can't wait to try it out. One thing I'm curious about - what were some of the hard technical hurdles you had to overcome to get this working? Was it wrangling the LLMs or something at the browser/interaction level?
