Hello Product Hunt Community!
I’m Bob Newman, Head of Sales at Redrob, and I’m excited to introduce People Search GPT—a high-signal, AI-powered people search engine that makes finding and connecting with the right professionals easier than ever.
Why We Built It:
For startups and SMBs, one meaningful connection can change everything—whether it’s finding the perfect investor, hiring a unicorn candidate, or closing a big deal. But the search process isn’t always simple:
🤔 You may have a general idea of who you need, but narrowing it down takes time.
🦄 Manually reviewing profiles can feel like searching for a needle in a haystack.
💰 Tools like ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Recruiter are expensive, putting search behind a hefty paywall.
That’s why we built People Search GPT—an AI-powered search engine that helps you instantly find and connect with the
right people using natural language.
How It Works:
No complex filters. No endless scrolling. Just type who you’re looking for, and People Search GPT scans 700M+ profiles to deliver a refined list of matching professionals—complete with verified phone numbers, emails, social links, and AI-powered insights—at a fraction of the cost.
Who It’s For
Founders, recruiters, sales teams, fundraisers—literally anyone who relies on professional connections.
What’s Next?
We’re working on:
AI agents that can book meetings on autopilot.
Built-in incentives to engage top prospects.
Seamless payment solutions for global hires.
Smart integrations to predict needs and improve results.
🎁 We’re giving the Product Hunt community up to 6 months of free premium access to People Search GPT to celebrate our launch!
All we ask is for your feedback—whether it’s UX improvements, feature requests, use cases, or testimonials, we’re all ears.
Try it out and let us know what you think!
Let’s build the future of people search together! 🚀

@bnewms From which database are those people found? Like what are the sources? LinkedIn? RocketSearch? Official company websites? (Just want to know what is the relevancy of info so I have curious questions) 😃
Redrob
Hi @busmark_w_nika! Thanks for the question. Our data source and algorithm operate on an aggregator system, pulling from 10+ sources, including our proprietary database of over 3 million profiles.

Hi @masump, Good question! Yes, early versions of that features is live now. We’re actively refining it to make it even smoother and more intuitive. Check it out—we’d love your feedback!

@bnewms Congrats on the launch and this is something I would use daily if it works well. Been playing with today and a few comments. The AI model does not seem to recognize "early stage" or "seed", etc for company in the Prompt...so I must edit. Removing company name then produces extensive results, and needing more filtering by some "company" name. As a recruiter, I don't always know the company I'm targeting, more often the types of talent I'm seeking, and company size.
The results list (that I see) are by 10 results a time, which is a lot of page clicks, so I'd prefer selection options of 50, 100, 250, etc on larger dataset results, so I can more easily scroll to see if they are close to my targets.
I currently use several other similar data scraping tools, and like the idea of more AI Prompt friendly options for my team. The other tools all have some pros/cons...and I do like what you are trying to accomplish. The AI Agents using video is a neat feature. The AI text copy for the Video/ AI Agent was a bit long and needs some edits, but it was different than other tools I use...so I did like that. Also, unsure if I could save more than the 10 on a page at time, and move to csv for data enrichment...but I'll continue to try your product this week.
All the best!
Oh, ChatGPT for finding people... That’s an interesting idea. Where do you get the information about people to provide ?

Thanks @kay_arkain! We pull from 10+ sources, including our proprietary database of over 3 million profiles. With our roots in HR and recruitment, we’ve spent over six years refining and enhancing our global data.

Nice! What's the pricing? Do you have an API?
Redrob
Thought you'd never ask,@junloayza 😅. We’ll offer a familiar license and credit model. While exact pricing is still being finalized, we are able to undercut all major competitors in our space. As for API access—yes! We can work with you on that and have successfully done so with others.
