Count people in your events with your phone. Share the event easily with other gatekeepers so you can monitor different gates in real time, knowing always the actual number of people inside. It works in choppy or slow cellular areas or even offline.
Hi there,
I am an indie solo hacker who mainly makes apps for fun and hobby. Dreaming of making it a source of income that can release me from the 8 to 5.
So far learning and experimenting to build apps. I make this as a simple counter with an appealing design, learning Webshockets, PWAs and Capacitor to be able to publish the app on Play and App stores, with Admob and in-app purchases.
I don´t expect to be number #1 today at PH, but just releasing my baby to the world. I would appreciate comments and many backlinks from your webpages!
congrats on launching People Counter, david! love the simplicity and utility of your app. counting people at events can be a hassle, and your solution seems like a great idea.
i'm curious, what inspired you to create this app specifically for counting people? wish you the best on your journey to making this a sustainable source of income!
@mashy Thanks for your comments Albert! It was just a way to try websockets technology to see how it works, and then I try to make a little more effort and convert it in a decent app. I also see that the rest of countein people apps are very outdated and ugly, plus not having real-time support.
Good luck in your launches as well!
