pcmd comes in handy π It helps to execute commands with a user-define name π It helps to execute multiple commands with just a single user-defined name π Check out the docs and start using it!
I needed a tool that could take away all my hassles in typing atrocious terminal commands to a 'write-once-run-anytime-with-just-a-few-words' system. I thought that this issue might not be only for me but for other developers too. I realized that if a tool could do that, it would increase our workflow to another extent.
This is why I built pcmd. Hope you enjoy using it!
@jdfwarrior@travelsalot Thanks for asking. This was a personal educational project I was building (as I'm a student). Then by the progress of the project, I wanted to build it as a python package (to get in touch with the open-source world and to know more about testing, documentation, and maintenance). This is just a mini alternative to bash aliases, but within the python ecosystem (and a few commands which are already inbuilt with pcmd [ init, list, inspect ]). I hope you like my motive.
