Hi all, Mike & Adam here, co-founders of Pay Tgthr! We founded Pay Tgthr for two simple reasons: (1) to automate splitting shared expenses using bank accounts we already had, and (2) to reduce the friction around finances in our relationship. We were tired spending time and energy on expense reconciliation, Venmo requests (and re-requests), and the unnecessary stress this put on our relationships. We also had no desire to open and manage a third bank account with our partners. We thought, "there must be an easier way." Thus was born Pay Tgthr. 💳 Tgthr Card The Tgthr Card is a Mastercard debit card that splits purchases at the point of sale using your *existing* checking account. Set how you'd like to split your expenses, swipe (or dip, or tap, or use online), and be done. Pay Tgthr will take care of the math and billing. After registering with Pay Tgthr, a virtual Tgthr Card is immediately delivered to you phone and can be added to your Apple Pay or Google Pay to start spending same day. You can also order a physical Tgthr Card for delivery in case you (or your local corner store) don't use/accept mobile payments. Also, while we may use the Tgthr Card with our romantic partners, it can of course be used by any 2 people who have shared expenses! 💸 Cash Back Rewards You can earn 5% cash back for many typical date night purchases (like restaurants, rideshares and movie theaters), 3% cash back for many of the items you use most at home (like groceries, utilities and stuff for your pets), and 1% cash back on all other purchases. Visit the Pay Tgthr website to see the full terms and conditions. 🖖 Split it your way With Pay Tgthr's category splits you can split purchases in a way that works best for you two. Partner eat more when you go out? Someone prefer to keep the heat on high all winter? You can set a primary split ratio for most purchases, and then set different split ratios for certain purchase categories. 🪟 Transparency You can opt to receive push notifications for every purchase made using the Tgthr Card. In-app you can also see a list of all transactions made, the merchant, the total purchase amount and your share of that amount. 🎁 Cost The Tgthr Card is currently free of charge. While we will be instituting a nominal $1 subscription fee in the future, we offer a free 2 month trial period for all users. Also, sorry, but the Tgthr Card is currently only available in the United States (we're working on it!). Save yourself time and money and get back to what really matters, spending quality time with your partner. Follow the links above to download the app and start splitting expenses with a partner today (and take a gander at some products in the pipeline aimed at automating other joint banking activities)! -Mike, CEO
