Hola Product Hunt! Long time lurker, first-time hunter.
Patagonia On A Budget is a guide book for independent travelers and backpackers interested in experiencing the beauty of Patagonia without breaking the bank. Despite packaged tours telling me such a trip would cost thousands of dollars, I was able to travel throughout the entire Patagonia region for 3 months on less than $30/day.
With imposing glaciers, excellent hiking trails, and incredibly hospitable locals, anyone who has been to Patagonia knows it is a unique place that leaves a lasting impression.
My intent with this project is to make the beauty of Patagonia more accessible for everyone. The book contains detailed itineraries for every region, the exact prices of campgrounds, hostels, national parks, and transportation options, and offers practical advice for both before your trip and on the road. If you have any questions, fire away!
@havesomegante Wonderful stuff Matt, PCT trekker here and find all of this information incredibly valuable. This book saves you 10-100x over what you would've spent without it. The fact, I spend ~$1800/mo on rent alone, not including car payments/misc. and I could have one month of pay to be in Patagonia for 3 months PLUS for LESS amazes me and only inspires me to finally depart there. Cheers.
