Power your growth with Panobi. Uncover effective strategies, integrate with your favorite tools and make data informed decisions. Save hours each week with automated reports so you can get back to driving results. Built by Slack’s first growth team for yours.
Today we're launching Panobi publicly – now anyone can sign up and use it for free.
Building a product where people can drive results, execute on tactics and create clear strategies is really meaningful to us. In fact, it’s something we would have loved to have when we were under immense pressure to deliver ourselves.
We're a small team of folks – most of us got to know each other while rebuilding the new user experience at Slack in 2015. As that team grew and we started calling ourselves "the Growth team" instead of "the Newxp team" we were always in a mad rush and losing a ton of time just copy/pasting data, taking screenshots, trying to answer questions for our colleagues, collaborating with the go-to-market team, and creating loads of docs/decks/spreadsheets to communicate our strategy to the execs and board.
Panobi is a labour of love for all the growth teams, marketers, and product managers out there. Everyone struggles to bring context to chaos and tell stories with data. We want to help free up your time to do less work about the work and instead have time to focus on what you do best.
We're just getting started and we'd love you to join us on this adventure.
Have fun,
Team Panobi 💜 🫡
@merci_victoria_grace congrats on the launch! It sounds like the timeline is the key concept - how opinionated are you on the processes and cadences that make that timeline effective?
Also...you're in an unusual position as a builder having advised so many growth teams - how do you navigate building for typical orgs vs. building for an ideal org and helping people get there through process, culture, etc?
@rajiv_ayyangar Great questions, and thanks so much. What's interesting about the timeline imho is that it works for a lot of types of teams and their data. We see product-led growth teams using it to avoid experiment conflicts and we see execs using it to monitor their companies' topline metrics and launches. The key component is the daily pulse of business – we all just have each day as it comes and they all matter.
Navigating building a typical vs ideal org is a challenge we saw early on. At first we were just data warehouse native – which assumes that companies have data teams and fairly good governance, and that the PMs/marketers et al write SQL. We saw quickly (but not as quickly as we could build integrations heh) that many more folks need access to democratized data than are comfortable navigating a data warehouse or writing SQL. So we did two things: integrated with an LLM to let anyone write SQL, and we built a ton more integrations to more tools that anyone at a company can set up in a few clicks.
We'll continue to integrate with a huge variety of data sources for that reason. But overall, growth and marketing and media-buying and product-shipping teams of all shapes and sizes are already working in the manner that Panobi supports. The existing, but mostly manual and very time-consuming, workflows of these teams is what inspired us initially.
@merci_victoria_grace Congratulations on the public launch of Panobi! It's wonderful to hear that your platform is now accessible to everyone, offering a tool where strategies can be crystalized, tactics executed seamlessly, and meaningful results driven.
The importance of getting leadership/management and teams aligned cannot be overstated.
When we were conducting research with Jira users for curiouslab.io, the most requested feature BY FAR, was a high-level dependency view, similar to what Panobi provides.
You guys are building something special 💪
Congrats on the launch! 🚀
