Hey all! Palettable originally came to fruition when an old co-worker of mine wanted a custom palette for his side project but didn't know how to make the colors cohesive, he just knew what colors he liked and didn't like.
There are a bunch of color palette generators out there, but for most it's up to the user to coordinate the colors together, which requires some degree of design sense. For non-creative folks this can turn into a pretty long guessing game.
Palettable abstracts that decision making process away and gives you suggestions instead, while still giving you all the customizability from traditional generators. It searches millions of existing palettes to find more colors that might match, so the suggested colors aren't random. For designers this is a great source of color inspiration as well. The overall process allows both designers and those who are more technical to get a great looking result.
More features are on the way but I'd love to hear what you guys think! Thanks!
