@arif_aze Hey Arif! To answer your question, Weav Run is one of those apps that I mentioned earlier that selects music for you and doesn't give you much control over what you want to listen to. PaceCoach, on the other hand, lets you adjust the tempo of any of Spotify's 30+ million songs as well as any music that you have stored on your iPhone. We feel that this gives users the control that they need, as songs that you know and love are much more motivating than songs that you've never heard before!
Thanks for checking us out and feel free to let me know if you have any follow-up questions. Hope you found this response helpful!
@vikram_chatterji The Android version is still in the works, only iPhone and Apple Watch for now. We will certainly let you know when the Android version is live!
@brad_bailey Is there somewhere I can sign up for notification of the Android release? The Subscribe button on your main page doesn't seem to work for me.
The detail that this integrates with my Spotify account makes this _very_ appealing!
Is it likely that your Android release will be before you switch to a paid-for model? Although if this is all that I hope it is, providing on your costs I'd be happy to pay for this alongside Spotify.
@frank00 Hi Frank! Sorry about the subscribe button! Totally overlooked that but it should be fully functional now. If you put your email in there, we'll be sure to reach out to you when we launch on Android. We probably won't be offering the Android version before we switch to a paid-for model, but given how early you're reaching out to us, we'll be sure to give you a free year subscription and some PaceCoach swagger once we do launch our Android counterpart. We really appreciate it when people give us great feedback and let us know when things need to be fixed. Thanks a lot for that!
@philiparpin No worries Philip, and that's very kind of you. I've subscribed! One more bit of feedback, the subscription function was throwing an error due to the mix of https / http request.
@frank00 hmm, that's strange. I know it's making an HTTPS request to MailChimp, so I'm unsure about why you'd be getting an error due to a mix of requests since they all should be HTTPS. There was a period of about a minute where it was set to make an HTTP request to MailChimp before I realized that I made a typo. However, as of now, it appears to me that it's using HTTPS everywhere.
@malonehedges Hey Malone! Yes we do! We have an Apple Watch app that will allow you to control PaceCoach from your wrist. You can keep your phone safely in your armband or pocket and have access to all the controls from your watch!
Unfortunately, at this time you will still need to bring your phone with you when running, as Apple Watch does not currently have the ability to stream music from Spotify.
Hopefully this sufficiently answers your question, but if you need any further clarification, don’t hesitate to ask! :)
