Trend brainstorms, deep dives into different ecosystem (including case studies and gaps in the market analyses), expert interviews, and niche market data to help founders and investors spot opportunities.
Hey,
Opportunitites.so was born out of two realizations:
- It seems unlikely that someone else will hand you a perfect business idea. Product-founder fit is incredibly important, and you'd probably need an infinite stream of business ideas before you get one that makes sense given your personal background, skills, and interests.
- On the other hand, great business ideas are not born in a vacuum. We all need some kind of input and especially if you don't have a lot of experience it's difficult to spot viable business opportunities.
So the challenge is to provide input that inspires and supports entrepreneurs while simultaneously avoiding the one-size-fits all trap. To paraphrase Einstein, the goal is to provide as much help as possible but not any more than that.
Here's how we're planning to achieve that:
- We study marketplaces and business models and create detailed reports that highlight what's selling.
- We monitor trend signals across search engines and social networks and regularly publish brainstorms on growing niches, products and consumer behaviors.
- We give subscribers access to niche market data that allows them to kickstart their own research and make it easier to navigate the corresponding idea maze.
- We publish deep dives on emerging industries and macro trends with a strong focus on case studies.
- We talk to people that have in-depth knowledge when it comes to a specific ecosystem and share actionable write-ups of everything we learn (plus the full conversations!) with our subscribers.
Think of it this way. Concrete business idea reports with step-by-step plans are like realistic paintings. They're easily digestible and everyone sees the same thing. In contrast, our approach is more like abstract paintings since our primary goal is to enable entrepreneurs come up with ideas that are born out of their own experiences.
Best,
Jakob
PS: I'm definitely not saying that the "realistic painting" approach is bad or anything. It just isn't working for me personally and that's why we decided to provide something different.
I have read all contents from opportunities.so.
All opportunities reports are backed up by real stats, concret analysis (not some self-biased theories), pro/cons explained with Pain Points.
** Highly recommend **
or you maybe missing some emerging opportunities
