@rrhoover Both hidden and retail hotel listings include a number of data points, such as amenities, neighborhood, and review score. By combining all these data points, it's relatively straightforward to match up hidden listings to their corresponding retail listings with high confidence.
In fact, my original inspiration for Opaque was that I found myself doing this matching manually when booking on Hotwire, and realized it would be easy to do programmatically as well.
