One Job a Day highlights one exceptional entry-level marketing job at a top-tech company. The goal is for job seekers to spend less time applying to the wrong jobs, and instead, apply to jobs that are actually good roles that could start their careers.
Hey i think this is a great idea. I have one question though. You say there is only one job posted per day and the impressions are huge. Same goes for the competition applying for the job. My question is: how are you planning the control the competition that is applying only for one job?
@mateakofiloska Great question! I'm planning to build an application system on One Job a Day to handle this exact problem. It'll take some time, but the idea is that if an applicant creates a profile and uploads a resume I could provide a relevancy score to the company so they can better sift through the resumes. It's still a ways out, but I think it's doable.
Hi there - Over the course of my career in marketing and mentoring, I've seen first hand that it's not about the number of jobs you apply for or jobs you get -- but just finding the one, right job that changes your life.
So, rather than have you browse or search for jobs like a traditional job board, I built One Job a Day so that people interested in a career in marketing can see one potentially great job I think might be a right based on my career in marketing and hiring teams. If you like the job, great! Rework your resume and apply for this role! But if you don't like this role, no worries. A new job will come tomorrow!
I hope this helps some people with their careers, and if you'd like to get an email when the new job is posted, be sure to sign up for the email list!
