An easy-to-use, powerful iOS app to help you keep all your recipes in one place. Some of the cool features (more are coming soon): -send your recipe easily -export your recipe(s) in PDF -sync across your devices
In my free time I really enjoy cooking. Sometimes I just improvise, other times I look for a good recipe that I might save for myself for later.
And here came the problem. Sometimes I wrote it down on a paper, saved the website in the bookmarks, or saved the video in YouTube and so on... With this after a while I was having many recipes at different locations so I never knew where to look for what and usually just ended up Google-ing something up again.
After a while I decided I want to keep everything in one place. I searched the App Store first, but to be honest didn't find the app that I needed and I liked. I wanted a simply and comprehensive app that would do nothing more than I need: save my recipes all in one place with an easy-to-navigate layout and simple, nice design (at least for me :) ).
So I ended up with creating my own application, Nyamm. My (and hopefully yours too) new digital cookbook. I'm glad to announce that the first version has been published to the App Store now!
Some of the features it has already:
- organize your recipes into food groups;
- store a useful link to a website/video for your recipes, so you can get there with one touch;
- amaze yourself with beautiful photos - add your own photo for your recipes and food groups;
- send your recipe to a friend instantly, so they can save it in their Nyamm immediately;
- export your recipe(s) in PDF so you can share or print later;
- save a servings size for your recipes, so by changing that, Nyamm will automatically update the amount of needed ingredients;
- synchronise your recipes across all your devices
The application is free until you don't exceed the maximum number of recipes and food groups, after then, if you like it, you can buy Premium as a one-time in-app purchase.
I still have a lot of improvement ideas in my mind on how to proceed, but I believe it has reached a point that it can be released now.
I hope you will try out and enjoy it as much as I did enjoy the development itself.
Any feedback is very highly appreciated! Both here and on App Store as a review :)
Have a nice day!
