Hey team, congrats on the launch of a really interesting product! Feels like this is is just what the generation TikTok, xiaohongshu, and Vine needs.
In case you want to have a look at how this looks for a similar "competitor", have a look at the German news app Tagesschau. They combine short video format with text - it's really well done.

@berkaydin@laural Tagesschau - Daily Show, but yeah it's the news show of the German public Television (similar to the BBC)
Their short format is called Tagesschau in 100 Sekunden and is updated every few hours with a shorter version of the 15 / 30 minute news shows they usually have throughout the day.
The other public broadcaster ZDF (Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen/Second German Television) has a similar format called heute Xpress (Today Xpress) that's also named after their main news show.
Both are professionally produced news by the same reporting team as the main news as far as I know.
Very nice idea, and well executed. I feel overwhelmed so often when I go onto my news apps in the morning - this feels like the TikTok of news - I love it!!
