We love traveling so much! What if something bad happens? It helps rescuers or bystanders to scan your QR code, and view your contact and medical information in an emergency.
Hey hunters 🥳
We are thrilled to share with you our tool that can revolutionize the way we travel.
With personalized QR codes that contain your contact and itinerary details, as well as emergency information, NomadQR provides an added layer of safety and convenience. Simply print the code and attach it to your bag, and you're good to go! As you can see in the pictures, we also created a QR and printed it on a bag tag for ourselves and used it safely in both our backpacks and computer bags during our trip to Southern Asia 🎒
Let's give NomadQR a try and let us know what you think!
👉 NomadQR is just one of the many helpful resources available on NomadsJ.
✨ "NomadsJ (👉 https://nomadsj.com/ ) — an all-in-one solution for nomads. It helps you add your experiences to the map, find nomads near you, and discover ways to earn income while you travel."
· We built Recipify — which helps to find what you can eat in the country you are traveling to based on your diet, allergies and cuisine preferences.
· And, we built Nomads’ Handbook for Co-working Spaces — a guide to the best work & coffee places in popular digital nomad destinations.
🔥 If that sounds good, visit NomadsJ at this link (👉 https://nomadsj.com/ ) and let us know if you have any feedback!
🔥 Also, we have a community of nomads that we would like to connect and support each other as we travel. Join our community on Telegram here: https://t.me/nomadsj/1
🔥 We would love to talk about how we can help you on your journey as NomadsJ family. So, let's pick a slot that works for you from our meeting link here: https://cal.com/batuhan-merguz/1...
All your feedback is invaluable to us and we can't wait to hear how NomadQR is making your travels smoother, safer, and more enjoyable 🚀
If used as displayed (worn outside of backpacks/on clothing), could be a really dangerous thing, especially for solo female travelers: anyone can scan it and instantly have your information/contacts. I can imagine stalkers and human traffickers would benefit from this more than anyone else. Are you solving this problem in any way?
@kay_larina Thank you for your feedback. As a female solo traveler for years, I completely understand your consideration. The information you provide is up to you. It could be as simple as an emergency contact and the number of your embassy in a country you are traveling to.
@kay_larina Great point Ksenia, thanks for asking this. We are aware of this, but we cannot separate it. You are free to add any information you want. There is a possibility that the contact information may cause a problem as you say. However, just adding medical information is also an important point, especially for some of us.
We (me and my husband) added our important contact information and used these QR codes every day during our 6-month travel. We did not encounter any problems, of course we could. However, we do not see any problem in using it with contact information and we will still continue to use it in this way in our next travels.
We can somehow handle the possible contact information problem, but if we encounter an emergency such as any health problem, it sounds more important to us that having contact information of our relatives can be easily reached.
@melikekerpel_art makes sense! thanks for your replies!
a possible way to address it (and actually maybe even upsell your product with bundles and stuff like that) is separate the QR codes with different info: make the medical codes visible and bright and easily accessible, additional one with the info of the embassy and "I'm lost/need help" kinds of messages in local language, and then a third one with private information that's meant to be shared intentionally only.
@melikekerpel_art one last point: you guys could actually use it as your marketing strategy then — to educate people about safe traveling and how to be prepared but cautious.
@melikekerpel_art@kay_larina Yeah, you're totally right! It's very important to us to make this tool useful to travelers and more usable in the ways you mentioned.
So, we added it to our backlog immediately! Thank you for your feedback and suggestion. That meant a lot to us!
