NFT by ExtraFounder: Collectible startup NFTs

👋 Hey ProductHunt Community! 👨🏽‍💻 I’ve been an entrepreneur and professional service provider for the past +10 years. I've become fascinated with building my career by studying companies and helping them grow and mature. 🎉 So... a year ago I joined ExtraFounder, a skill trading platform for startups. I was excited by not only the product and the approach but the founder's vision to empower entrepreneurs to help themselves by helping one another. 😡 As a founder myself, I also feel the frustrations that come with trying to get an idea off the ground. Sometimes we need to validate the idea, but in many cases, founders need support to execute an idea once it's been validated. 🦋 The beauty that comes with the struggles that we face is that as founders who serve founders, the solutions that we develop for ourselves can be shared with our community of entrepreneurs. 💪 We’ve been actively collecting feedback from both our users and our networks and we've been hard at work building solutions for problems that many of us face. We've realized that even as users of each other's products, we're not always in a position to "invest" in companies that we feel will become successful. 🚀 Today, we're proud to announce the launch of NFT by ExtraFounder. We're minting commemorative, limited-edition startup trading cards as NFTs. These cards are minted on the blockchain to ensure their uniqueness, allow embeddible smart contracts for perks and supporter rewards, and are timestamped to note the creation & transfer of these cards. 🏁 Our goal is to allow supporters of these companies to collect these trading cards while supporting startups (proceeds to go the startups), getting perks (merch, discounts, even board seats), AND getting the ability to say 'I TOLD you so' as these companies go forth and execute. 📈 Our thinking is that as these companies continue to grow in value, so will the respective trading cards (similar to sports cards) but unlike stock, we expect to SOME value in novelty and nostalgia (Blockbuster I'm looking at you). 🏆 If you're a collector of NFTs, please check us out.
