@ShloimeFlg Yeah, that sounds like a great resource. I thought about it with housework as well. Sometimes I say to myself "Okay, I'm going to clean out the fridge by Thursday..." and on Thursday I promise myself Friday, etc. etc. Having it in writing probably changes the behavior.
I wonder if @nireyal has anything to add about habit forming in regard to deadlines?
@UXAndrew Deadlines can be good and bad. Psychologically they can serve as a "pre-commitment device" but they can also add a sense of failure if they're missed which the brain can interpret as a punishment. The important thing is to make these behaviors things people want to do as opposed to have to do. see this for more: http://www.nirandfar.com/2013/07...
I just started working freelance full time, so I don't have the luxury of a project manager anymore.
It's great that there are apps like this. Hopefully it comes to Android soon too :-)!
@_liat I've been showing Next to fellow students at HLS. Everyone loves it. I'd recommend keeping students in mind. This is great for tracking course assignments and readings.
