Neuron AI is designed for 100% privacy, speed, and full control — it runs completely on-device, meaning no internet is required and no data ever leaves your device. Don’t believe it? Turn on airplane mode and be amazed.

Purely on-device AI! Awesome. Did you make the model from scratch? If it's confidential, you don't need to reveal.
I was once interested in mobile on-device AI models but back then AI models were too large to run on any mobile device.
btw good to see fellow "Screenshots Pro" user! It makes things really handy, doesn't it.

@hyuntak_lee Thanks! No, I am using open-source models from huggingface, but they need to be converted to MLX format first. Yes same here, but I think we're now at a point where the models are small and powerful enough to run on (modern) mobile devices. Also the gap between open-source and closed-source frontier models seems to be shrinking every day.
Yes 100%, would have taken me at least 10x the time if I had to do it with Affinity Designer
@kyomangold I agree with you that open source and small models are getting powerful everyday. The evolution of technology is so fast nowadays.
I admire you that you made the interest of running AI fully on device come to life :) Kudos!

@hyuntak_lee Indeed, it's amazing! Great times to be building new products!
Thank you! What are you launching soon? Is there a waitlist I can sign up for?
@kyomangold I'm planning to launch an anxiety and panic care service where your can access anxiety-specialized AI chatbot "Elissa" 24/7. I'm excited and nervous to be honest :)
It seems directly sharing link to signing up page here isn't allowed, so you can hover your cursor on "launching soon" next to my name, click the name of the product "Elissa - My Panic Ally" and that will lead you to my teaser page where you can click "notify me"!
I sincerely appreciate your interest and signing up for the waiting list! It's HUGE help for a solo launcher :)
I think you're onto something with your app. I'd like to try some of these models first though before buying. (I didn't even know that Apple's LLM is freely available btw...) I tried the Llama that comes for free and there is a reason why I've never tried the Meta LLM before - the answers were not only wrong but also miles away from what I expect from a decent LLM these days. This is not your fault (and I don't understand why anyone would use a Meta product anyway), but without the possibility to test the other models and their validity, it's hard to tell if your app/wrapper is worth the money.

@atmos_ Thank you for your valuable feedback! This is definitely something I will have to re-think, especially as the training cut-off date of the "free" LLM (in this case Llama 3.2 1B) becomes increasingly outdated over time. Would a 1 week trial resolve this? I'm thinking about integrating this in a future version
