For each ski resort, NEU combines five types of maps: 1️⃣ AR Map: A diorama-style map showing real terrain elevation, which you can overlay in real-world environments using Apple Vision Pro or your iPhone. 2️⃣ 3D Object: A fully interactive 3D map of the resort. This is the same 3D object as the AR Map but doesn’t require the camera, making it more convenient in situations like when you’re on a ski lift. 3️⃣ 2D Map with GPS Geolocation: Similar to Google Maps but customized with all ski trails. 4️⃣ 3D Topographic Map: A detailed terrain map that includes elevation data. 5️⃣ Traditional Trail Map: The classic paper map, digitized and available offline in PDF format. The AR Map stands out because it allows you to explore the resort’s terrain and slopes with precise elevation data. You can use it from the comfort of your living room with Apple Vision Pro or while skiing, interacting with the map through your iPhone as you move around. Unlike traditional 2D ski maps, which often make it difficult to understand the actual terrain (especially in large resorts with multiple mountains and valleys), NEU provides a complete and immersive view. Plus, paper maps don’t offer live GPS location 😊 —a game-changer when navigating the slopes! 🚠⛷️
