Hi ProductHunters!
I’ve been waiting for months for this post and I’m really proud to introduce you to Neocom today!
A while ago my wife put me in charge of buying a new fridge with the only requirement that it is larger than her.
After browsing through multiple websites searching for that fridge, I got quite frustrated: Even after setting the size and type of my fridge, there were still a gazillion of products left. I had no clue which one to pick as I didn’t know how much a good fridge cost, I also had no real budget. Most of the available filters told me nothing and sent me quite often to a frustrating result set of 0 products. Do I need a zero-degree-zone? What’s no-frost? Is 45dB a silent or loud fridge?
Come on, it’s 2021, we can do better than that.
Let me introduce you to Neocom, an AI-powered guided selling SaaS for online shops, which helps customers in finding the right product. It’s like having a good friend, who’s an expert, sitting next to you explaining what you need to know and where to make a compromise in order to get to the product you really need.
Together with my co-maker @dananedamaldeen and a small, but spectacular team we went from idea to first customer in no time (literally a few weeks). As of today, Neocom is used successfully by many renowned online shops, including Fahrrad.de (one of top 3 bike shops in Germany).
How Neocom works for online shops:
1. Pick from one of our playbooks (fridges, bikes, ...) or start from scratch mapping human-friendly expert knowledge to product attributes.
2. Plug in your product data feed with price, availability, link and as many technical product attributes as you have.
3. Paste the 2-line JavaScript code snippet into your shop.
There’s no need for you to script a fixed conversation flow in an IFTTT, our conversation engine will find the best flow for every customer depending on their needs with personalised product recommendations.
We'd love to hear your thoughts. Share below or ping me at ssl@neocom.ai!
Thanks,
Sebastian
PS: Yes, you want a zero-degree-zone (also called fresh-zone, veggie-zone) in a fridge, it cools your veggies down to 0°C which keeps them fresh for weeks! Yes, you also want no-frost as it makes sure that nothing gets frozen to the back of your fridge any longer ;-) And 45dB is a loud fridge, something you definitely don’t want to have in an open-space kitchen, but perfect for your basement as louder fridges are also cheaper.
