Awsome problem-solution presentation! You can be a good example to many other startups of how to show the need in your product. What interesting, you show intention to automate most of choses, so a friend doesn't need to spent much time to use the app, it turned to "digital assistant". What I would like to see in such a product. Turn it to "the best way to spent your time with friends at the certain period of time" complete solution. Ideally, you even do not need to generate decision (but of course micro-management should be allowed). Algorithm may know better then you, what is is most interesting to do with friends basing on learning yor behaviour, habbits, finance ablity. It may post tips, for example "Maybe to visit cinema with Loren" time by time on your variuos messaging channels (so it may be a slack, telegram, whatsapp bot and email reminder). We wanted a simple and easy way to present the problem and solution and did so in the most efficient way we could (thanks @chansen0219 , @venkatarajan , and @san_geetha ). I like your Digital Assistant comment and think Neighborverse has the potential to be a Digital Assistant for Outdoor Recreation by taking care of all the low-value add stuff and letting the user enjoy the activity itself. I also like your Activity Recommendation Algorithm that works on an AI/ML backend and makes intuitive recommendations for the user like Tennis with Anton on a Saturday or Brunch with Amanda on Sunday based on user preferences, usage patterns, and availability. Neighborverse started as my pandemic project while I was looking to be active and safely socialize outdoors. I started playing tennis and golf, and going running. I was constantly checking the weather during the day and the forecast for the week, to do things outdoors. I realized how much our mood and what we do and eat are all based on the weather, time of day, and people we interact with. I used apps like Yelp, Google Maps, Facebook Groups, and Dark Sky to plan my daily activities, frequently feeling overwhelmed by the number of choices presented. That is how the idea for Neighborverse started - a simple and free mobile app that provides tailored recommendations based on the weather, time, your interests, and location - reducing the number of steps and choices involved. It also enables quick connections with other people who have similar interests and proximity, making things like impromptu tennis or golf sessions much easier to set up. Neighborverse: - Recommends activities by weather conditions and suitable times. - Presents only the best-rated, closest locations. - Connects users with the right people for their favorite activities in their neighborhood, prioritizing meaningful and actionable connections. - Selects for preferred outdoor activities such as tennis, cycling, running, golf, etc. - Presents food and drink activity recommendations based on social conventions (brunch, cocktails, etc.), location, and quality. These features serve to offload low-value, repetitive decisions to the app - so users can focus only on the most important decisions - like what golf club to use or what drink to order! We’ve got some exciting things coming up on the roadmap, too! - In-app messaging - so you can safely interact with other members without sharing your phone/email. - Events - to organize your own social gatherings. - Activity tracker - to keep track of your game scores or log your run or ride. - Leaderboards - to see the best players in your neighborhood. I like matching activities to weather seamlessly. I like that I can look for friends to do stuff with together outside. Very easy to use and nothing else like it.
