Hello Product Hunters! I am Monika, Product Manager at MyZenTeam. 🖐️ Our team has been working remotely for the last 8 years. With over 180 people working from 40+ countries in 14 different time zones, we needed a simple solution that made sure we were all on the same page. MyZenTeam profiles are a tool that we created to engage and collaborate asynchronously. 🌎 Do you know how your manager or colleagues prefer to work or communicate? That’s why we introduced the concept of employee profiles internally and now we are sharing it with you. It’s our manual for understanding how other team members prefer to collaborate and interact with their colleagues. It includes: 💬 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐞 - An internal cheatsheet for knowing how teammates prefer to work and communicate. Here we express our preferences for: • Chat or call? • Small talk or straight to the point? • How we like to get feedback • Our strengths and blind spots 🧠 𝗗𝗶𝗦𝗖 - Different outlooks and points of view create the most successful teams. We remain mindful of our team's DiSC profiles to make sure all perspectives are adequately represented. 👩‍🎨 𝝞𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀 - Colleagues are humans! This is a space for us to find a fellow hiking fan or be inspired to pick up a new hobby. 🎥 𝗣𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮 𝗞𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗮 - A presentation method that tells a story through 20 images. Colleagues must include a link to the presentation in their employee profile, and they must limit each slide to 20 seconds. 💪 𝝖𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 - We recognise the hard work of our employees beyond their job titles in their profiles. We celebrate the great accomplishments they have achieved and ensure that they are visible to everyone. MyZenTeam profiles can be made public so that you can tailor them and make these profiles accessible to everyone! As a hiring manager, you can use these profiles in your job postings so your applicants can become more informed of your work ethic and style. Additionally, you can add the link to your profile, and to your email signature to spice up your online networking! 📨 With MyZenTeam profiles, you can build a strong and engaged remote team. Congrats on your launch! Amazing to see how MyZenTeam grew from a concept to a mind-blowing (more like mind-soothing?) tool. 🤩 One note though, it would be nice to have control over which of the profile fields would be visible to people outside the organization if the profile was made public.

I really like the idea of profiles and especially the how to work with me section. Makes it so much easier to connect more effectively and get to know your colleagues in such an easy way for everyone involved. Amazing!

Hey @monika_myzenteam and the MyZenTeam, congrats on your launch, I really love your brand the clean UI (i am a designer so that's the first thing I see). I really love your onboarding which takes me to my profile creation, then to my dashboard. It was absolutely smooth and easy to understand. I think it will be way more fun if you can have a dummie co-worker in there which I can play with initially. Once I invite my coworkers, I know this tool will be way more valuable. I am going to invite few of my coworkers to use this and see what they think as well. Congrats again!
