🎉 A New Chapter for MyLens AI Seven months ago, we launched MyLens AI with a simple idea: making beautiful timelines of historical events with just one click. We didn't expect such a huge response, but over 50,000 users joined us, and together, we created more than 250,000 visuals! 🎉 📣 Listening to Our Community From our first day on Product Hunt, your feedback has been our guide. We realized that while timelines were powerful, our users wanted more ways to visualize complex information. That's why we added three new types of visuals: mindmaps, quadrants, and tables. Each new visual was designed to break down complexity and present it in an accessible, clear format. 🧩 Simplifying Complexity Our team’s background in data science and visualization has always driven our mission. Initially, we focused on making it easy to create timelines. But as we engaged with our community, we saw a bigger opportunity. We wanted MyLens to be more than just a timeline creator. We envisioned an AI that could analyze and present information visually, no matter how complex. 🔍 Tackling Complex Data In our discussions with users, we learned that more than 85% of business data is unstructured and qualitative, making it difficult to analyze. Many of you face challenges with messy data like customer feedback, emails, PDF reports, and IT logs. These types of unstructured data are often so complex that people give up on extracting insights and end up making gut decisions instead. 📑 Upload Image as Context We wanted to help users make sense of this chaotic data. Initially, we allowed users to upload images, such as screenshots of PDFs or web pages. This was our first step in seeing if our AI could handle real-world complexity. MyLens AI began by analyzing these images to extract meaningful information and turn it into clear, insightful visuals. 🖼️🔍 📁 Upload CSV as Context Building on the success of image uploads, we recognized the need for even more robust data handling. That's why we added CSV data support. Many users work with structured data and need a simple way to visualize it. By allowing CSV uploads, MyLens AI can now load this data, analyze its structure, remove noise, and enrich it to highlight the most important insights—all with just one click. 📊💡 🧠 MyLens AI Architecture While users don’t see the complex chain of AI processes behind the scenes, MyLens AI is hard at work transforming raw data into insightful visuals based on what you want to know.
