MyExpiring.Link is a URL shortener with a kick — you can choose how you want your link to expire; either after being visited, or after a certain time. Once your link expires, visitors will be redirected to a different URL of your choosing.
Hello PH community!
I've been building side projects for a while and I enjoy creating small websites that have big impact, I'm not sure if this will be one of them, but I hope it is. MyExpiring.Link is a website similar to Bitly, with a key difference: you can create short URLs that expire.
It's super simple – specify where you want your URL to redirect visitors to before AND after your link expires. Once you've done that, select your method of expiration; on a specific day, or after being visited a certain amount of times — and boom, you're done.
I think it's a simple yet useful tool people can use instead of Bitly since it has an important feature that Bitly doesn't; expiration. It doesn't have all the features that Bitly does, but I might add more features like password-protected links and URL masking in the near future. Feel free to comment any features you think should be built and I'll consider them. I hope you guys enjoy it, and like always, let me know what you think!
@yelmahallawy Hey Youssef. This is a great tool with excellent new features which I've never seen before. Good luck with your launch.
We just launched Swappit too. Please do check it out. We would love to hear your feedback.
