The app is currently on a waitlist because I’m too poor to pay $8000/day of GPU, so I do everything manually to insure the best quality possible. For the techies, my tech stack is HTML + CSS for the front-end, and me sending you a form for the back-end.

You’ll be able to upload your pictures on the form and choose different styles for your portrait (but since I’m small you can also ask me whatever you want really).

Once you’ve made your choice, you’ll receive 20 pictures to choose from. If you don’t like any, no worry, I’ll make as much as needed until you find the perfect one. Then I’ll prepare the print file, start the fulfillment etc etc. It takes 1-2 weeks to receive your order from the moment you place it.

Why am I doing that? 🤔

I was working on an app to create customized paintings from just a quick description until I saw you could make portraits.

When I saw @levelsio and @dannypostmaa releasing their app, I knew I had to jump on the 🚂 Hype Train 🚂 so I stopped everything and tweaked the concept to add portraits. Does it make me an uninspired copycat? I guess

Joke aside, I wanted to test Product Hunt to see how it works as a creator and I thought it would be hilarious to have one new A.I. portrait app for 3 consecutive days.

Also, working under a VERY constrained timeline really pushed me to the edge and I learned a lot, so thanks to those two for making me feel the FOMO. I literally made the app in 3 days and decided to launch on PH yesterday when I saw Danny posting.

I have a very generous 100% satisfaction policy: if you don’t like the painting when you receive it, I’ll refund you and you keep it. Yep, terrible for business I know. But it's not like I can re-sell your portrait to someone else if it's returned anyway, so I just decided to let people keep it.
