1) Product Hunt's frame code breaks your user sign-up form. 2) Once I load the page directly and create an account, the direct download (https://s3.amazonaws.com/soundsl...) downloads an installer file that is not signed by Apple. Thus, anyone who has a Mac with the default setting of "Do not launch" apps not signed by Apple won't be able to use. Two massive barriers to all of the users that could be discovering your app.
@j_mueller thanks for the feedback, we're looking into the frame code issue, the developer validation by Apple will be available in our next update.
have you had a chance to give it a try in your DAW?
@pierre_seylan No, I won't try it until it's signed. We've been caught twice with malware on the Mac (unsigned) and as the founder of MacUpdate.com, I can't have malware on my Mac. I know it sounds too extreme, but get it signed so people can try it out and spread the word. Also, feel free to submit it to MacUpdate then :)
@bentossell As a music producer, it doesn't matter if you're an amateur or professional, you always need new sounds to fuel your inspiration.
Searching for sounds on the web is sometimes a pain and cuts your workflow, the Moody sampler is a huge shortcut to this.
It allows you to browse our cloud-based instruments library directly from the sampler interface and download new instruments with a single click, without ever leaving your studio.
Integrated to our music collaboration platform, Moody goes beyond offering instruments download, it is possible to upload your own instruments and share them with friends or the whole Soundslates community.
The free plan gives you 2GB of cloud storage + 200 files downloads (instruments or samples)
Premium membership includes 100GB of storage and unlimited access to the Sound library (99$/year)
The team has made a couple of demos with the library, check it out on Soundcloud:
