Hey Product Hunt! I’ve experimented with a lot of productivity strategies, and I’ve found that I’m most productive when I gamify productivity, by rewarding myself for work. I used to have a system where for every Pomodoro I completed, I rewarded myself with one episode of TV. I streamlined this by creating a Chrome extension to keep track of minutes worked, so I could treat myself to Netflix with mints (short for minutes) and thought others might be interested. With Minto, you can customize work sessions (my favorite is a simple 25 minute Pomodoro session), and earn a mint for every minute you work. Minto can also block sites while working, like Facebook, YouTube, and even Product Hunt(?). You can also earn mints by completing todos, which you create yourself (as a college student, mine are mostly homework and studying for exams). You can spend those mints on rewards (ex: 50 mints for an hour of TV). I’ve been using this myself and have found my productivity skyrocket.
