@ryanwallace It is more collaborative than that. It is more about many people sharing experiences and talking about it, seeing it from different perspectives. Often from the perspective of someone who they have never met, which is kind of exciting to me.
This is different from many other social media platforms which tend to be more about the individual's life.
Heya Product Hunters and party peeps🎈 welcome to MinglePic - a fun way to share event photos with everyone. Basically all other ways of sharing event photos is a little tedious in one way or another, you typically either have to belong to a group - or be friends with a bunch of people, or ask to be invited to a group - and then you need to leave or mute the group when you are done with the photos, or everyone is asking YOU to share photos with them which turns out to be a lot of work. Neither Instagram nor Facebook does contributions in a cohesive way, Twitter is too wide and Snapchat and Google shows locations rather than events. MinglePic is here to help you!
MinglePic is simple and easy, you create an event in your area, other users contribute, vote and comment and that is all there is to it. Well there are a few more details, such as that you can create public (default), private or promoted events and a few other surprises along the way, hopefully only good ones :D
This is the first version of MinglePic - and I stripped a lot of features to get something that is slim and represents a solid working MVP. Suggestions and recommendations are welcome!
