Howdy, it's Omosayansii 👋 I am beyond excited to share this latest startup built in public with you. I have personally spent a few years building different startups in public. It's not been an easy journey. Building, and shipping 🚀 startups really requires patience and consistency. Not to say I am lucky, but I have experienced 4 StartUp exits during my #buildInPublic Journey. As an Indie, I have always been a Motivated Maker that Builds to Grow to Sell. Flipping businesses and StartUps has been an interesting venture with its own ups and downs. All from receiving offers, rejection, cancellations et al. Makers looking to exit face all kinds of challenges, whether you are in Pre-revenue or Post-Revenue phase. I believe the Build In Public Community consists of Makers who can entirely build a StartUp product, but cannot afford to Scale, and Grow that Product. What happens? 💡 Bright idea
This is perfect for all the small projects & products here on Product Hunt! How much are you stepping into the actual process of selling the startup? Because there will probably be so many different countries, laws, ... included that it's difficult from a legal standpoint to unite this all in one platform. Excited to hear more about that!

@lrueger I am considering the addition of an auto-NDA signing prior to selling off the Startup, since i have managed to integrate into Escrow for payments as well.

@lrueger @omosayansii thats actually a really good idea and platform especially the ability to invest in the online businesses. I would like to explore more about how the investments & profits are managed.

I think you made a good decision with your monthly pricing instead of going commission-based. Because I know people that built commission-based platforms (for selling music) and they had the huge problem of people connecting on the platform but then making the transaction outside of the platform.

@lrueger Thanks Lukas. I wanna keep it simple and direct. Basically saving costs as well.

@omosayansii The only thing I can imagine is that you'll have people frequently leave and re-join the platform because they only want to pay when they use it. Also you'll have to unite the people that buy & sell a lot (frequent makers & firms) vs. the people that have built only one startup and want to sell only one time. There are really cool guides on how to do your annual pricing in a subscription model to minimize churn.

@lrueger actually, about that - What would you recommend? I have for a start tried, to implement a PWA ( installable on both iOs and Android ) + added a couple of real-time notifications via email and in-app.

@omosayansii I don't fully understand your question, can you maybe re-phrase? :) I'm a bit confused whether you talk about the pricing or the issue of people leaving the platform for communication & closing the deal?
