Whenever an app attempts to connect to a server on the Internet, Little Snitch shows a connection alert, allowing you to decide whether to allow or deny the connection. No data is transmitted without your consent. Your decision will be remembered and applied automatically in the future.
An original user of QuickSilver, I quickly got hooked using LaunchBar. To my mind, far superior to the alternative like Alfred (which I have supported from the start). The onboarding experience is great - and standard use is just easier than Alfred. Meaning that simple functions just work whereas at the moment, just launching an app leads to an unexplained bug. The Workflow but sounds great, but Launchbar (and now Shortcuts on the Mac) kind of negate that advantage.
