Oh, nice. In recent times I was thinking to make one minimalistic to do and notes extension, just so minimal to quickly write down. This extension is something similar to what I thought of. Also you could add an option to use the same data on different tabs, that would be an helpful for taking notes by visiting different sites, so the data/notes will be synchronized. Congrats on the launch!

@basharath Hi Basharath, Thank you for your feedback! This first version of MetaNote is indeed minimal. KISS = Keep It Stupid and Simple. We actually want to add more features in the future because the spirit of the extension is to be able to annotate web pages for yourself but also to share notes with your colleagues or the public. Thanks for the tip to take notes in the same tab when visiting different websites. We need to investigate how we can implement this functionality.

As a cloud engineer, I needed a tool to annotate the resources I created and the services I configured on the cloud platform. This was for my colleagues to know why I created these configured resources and services, and to add tips and comments on things to watch out for. Did you have a similar need at your job?
