Hi, I'm the developer of Memozora 👋 Memozora is a simple app, so you probably don't need further explanation about what it does. Therefore, I will just try to explain a bit about the technical side of the tool. 🧠 What is spaced repetition? It is an evidence-based learning technique often used with flashcard learning. In this technique, newly introduced and more difficult flashcards are shown more frequently, while older and less difficult flashcards are shown less frequently. The use of spaced repetition has been proven to increase the rate of learning. ⚙️ How do we determine the frequency of quizzes? It's calculated from the actual quiz data performed by users. We collected users' quiz histories and observed how often they failed and how often they succeeded. We then adjusted the frequency so that the quiz is neither too difficult nor too easy (so that the success rate would be just above 50%). 💪 How is it different from other flashcard apps? I would like to spend a long time explaining this, but if I had to pick one, it's the streamlined experience for language learners. We have features such as a multi-language dictionary and high-quality text-to-speech. With the dictionary, you can type any new word in the front form, and the AI will generate the translations and example sentences to complete the flashcard creation (available in the paid plan). For text-to-speech, we use Google's "Text-to-Speech AI", which I find to have the best performance in generating a natural pronunciation across various languages (available in the paid plan, while the free plan comes with lower quality text-to-speech).
