Memory Gardens

Maker
My name is Ben Peeri I am the founder of Memory Gardens. I have been in the IT industry since I opened my computer repair business at the age of 16. A few years back, my grandfather passed away. While grieving, I found a quote that strongly resonated with me; “There are three deaths. The first is when the body ceases to function. The second is when the body is consigned to the grave. The third is that moment, sometime in the future, when your name is spoken for the last time.” After reading the quote, I was driven to find a solution to memorialize my loved ones. Further, this made me think about how I want my own story or legacy to be told. How will my daughter Abbie remember me after I am gone? Do I want someone else to write my story or should I write my own? How can I ensure the happy moments we shared together will be available for her to remember when she is older? We all want to leave a legacy and be remembered by future generations. But how can you ensure the memories created will outlive the creator? Censorship, corporates owning your data, and device thefts all can cause a loss that can not be undone. How can we enable and encourage our future generations to share and relive our memories? https://memorygardens.xyz
