What do you think? …

Mohammad Elzahaby
After a heart-breaking breakup, I reflected on the past and realized that if I had actively reflected on everyday, I would have noticed subtle problems building up. That's why I created memoiri, a diary app that helps you focus on what matters most: your memories. With its clean and minimalist design, Memoiri makes it easy to capture your daily thoughts and experiences, whether you're writing down a quick note or sharing a longer entry. Simplicity is at the core of Memoiri's design. The app features a single screen where you can write your entries in a linear fashion, without any distractions. Every entry is automatically grouped by day and time, making it easy to navigate through your memories and revisit past moments.

Great product and really great product story. Thanks for sharing and creating Memoiri. I have always been curious when I see iOS apps on Product Hunt to learn how long the maker took to build them. Congrats on the launch Mohammad!

@carter_barnett thanks a lot for your support! it took me about 2 weeks, the first prototype was ready in about 2 days, thanks to flutter but after that a lot of bug fixing had to happen! Even with a small product like that it requires a lot of attention to details

@mohammad_elzahaby That’s so fast. Would you recommend flutter over native languages?
Mohammad Elzahaby
@carter_barnett i would say it depends on the use case, but generally yes, I am just a step away from releasing for android and other platforms :)

@mohammad_elzahaby Incredible - can then relaunch on ProductHunt!

A question on my mind a lot nowadays is how do I lean towards my authentic emotions without judgment. How do you think about the pros and cons of quantifying how often you feel certain emotions?

Also congrats on the launch!!
Mohammad Elzahaby
@david_glass thanks a lot for the feedback! I honestly cannot judge this yet but so far it helps me in seeing what makes me feel good or bad, and how it developes over time. i think it might require some kind of science backed study to have a meaningful answer to your question!
