Are you zoning out of Zoom? Get perfect recall of all of your meetings straight to your inbox. Use native cloud or local recordings or the Myna desktop app. Easy to play, text searchable from the inbox, slide content captured, and key topics extracted
I've been wanting to do this for about 4 years. I already had a prototype that captured phone calls in the office and emailed a "SmartTranscript" so I always had a searchable copy of what had been said on the phone. But I was convinced that it had a wider application to online meetings and desktop VoIP calls. And if I didn't do it now that the whole world was using Zoom etc, then I never would.
I didn't want to be one of those services that dial into calls, which I find a little creepy and intrusive. And I also wanted to make sure that users kept control over their own data, and didn't have to rely on us.
A lot of people can't easily record calls, because they are not the host or don't have recording privileges, so we made an easy-to-use desktop (Win10) recorder that links to a user's calendar. For people who can record calls, we connect to Zoom cloud recordings ATM (more to come) and everything else like Zoom local and Webex is ingested via Dropbox, which is also a great place to stream the meetings back to the SmartTranscript as well.
We're looking at other cloud storage vendors as well, but Dropbox seems to be the most fully functional from a connectivity and streaming perspective (Google Drive makes it tough to stream anything over 100Mb for example)
The exception is Teams, which is hard to grab. If you do cloud record in Teams, and use Outlook on Windows, we have an Outlook plugin that can grab the recordings from Stream, which is where MS puts them. Still no public API!
We're keen for people to give the service a try and grow with us, so Product Hunters get an extra one month free if they sign up in the next 30 days, using coupon code PB30 - No credit card required!
