over the last three years I created Media Hoarder, a frontend for your media stored locally or on your network shares (e.g. backups of your bluray/dvd movies) as a side project.
Today is the day of Version 1.0.0 - a state of the app which I deem ready for everyone else to enjoy.
Media Hoarder runs on Win/Linux/Mac as an Electron app and is free and open source.
