@axelut@hackinglife7 Confused about this line - "You can use it for Unlimited personal projects (this include your startup, blog etc) or projects that are sold to your clients.". Your website says you need a developer licence for $19 if I need to create multiple websites/apps for clients. What are the right terms?
@v3ss0n yes, you're right, there are many, frameworks there too. Our product was actually built over the "Bootstrap Material Design", created by Federico (FezVrasta), also the other product MDBootstrap was built over the same product made by Federico.
We made the Material Design a little bit more stylish, with colored shadows (you will see this new trend everywhere on the web in a couple of months), new ideas for the default cards, typography etc. This is our (Creative Tim) fingerprint over the default Material Design. Material Kit Free was made to have enough components that you can use to create a basic website that contains a landing page, about us page, login/register etc.
The really big difference that is coming in this game is in the PRO version, which contains a lot of new components (http://demos.creative-tim.com/ma...), ready to use sections (http://demos.creative-tim.com/ma...) and example pages (http://demos.creative-tim.com/ma...).
This is our main business. We take frameworks or plugins that are "regular" or "too basic" and add some life to them. That's happened with Get Shit Done Kit (another framework for Bootstrap which is very popular and is in the right side here on the Related Products) or Light Bootstrap Dashboard (http://demos.creative-tim.com/li...) or other products that we released (http://www.creative-tim.com/prod...). It seems that this business model was working because our users are very happy with the quality of the products.
Hope that make sense for you. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
Best,
Alex
@sweetiebelka@imakesoft Wow! That's gold! We will definitely use it. We also wanted to use the "multiple items" feature in our gallery for the product page and we integrated another library. We will change that for sure in our next update. Thank you!
Material Kit is a Free Bootstrap UI Kit with a fresh, new design inspired by Google's material design. It's a great pleasure to introduce to you the material concepts in an easy to use and beautiful set of components. Along with the restyling of the Bootstrap elements, you will find three fully-coded example pages, to help you design your next project.
Material Kit makes use of light, surface and movement. It uses a deliberate color choice, edge-to-edge imagery and large scale typography. The general layout resembles sheets of paper following multiple different layers, so that the depth and order is obvious. The navigation stays mainly on the left and the actions on the right.
This new design has elements that have been the result of research regarding ink and paper and the way objects and materials interact in real life. The result is a beautiful and consistent set of elements that can get you started with your next project. Material Kit is a great tool if you are looking to create a web presence for your Android application and need to be consistent, leaving the impression of visually similar elements. It is also a great resource in its own right, looking gorgeous and helping you build your web pages.
