Most podcasts fail after 7 episodes. That's because the launch is critical, and it's not as easy as you think. Here's my experience launching my own podcast, Marketing Without the Marketing. I hope that it helps you.
I started this podcast because marketing sucks today. Aggressive tactics with spam, pop-up ads, and other interruptions—all getting in the way of doing the stuff WE WANT TO DO. It doesn't have to be that way.
I see this as an opportunity. Why? If done right, marketing is just a story. It’s a narrative that includes you and your customer. It doesn’t have to be about lying or misrepresenting or tricking people into buying something from you. Rise above, and be in it for the long game.
This podcast is about those techniques—running you business the right way with a genuine intent, and building trust little by little until you have permission to ask for the sale.
