Hi guys! We’re thrilled to introduce Maker Hunt to the product hunt community! In our Visum data hunter team, we love to respond creatively to a challenge. So when we took on the challenge of launching a Product Hunt for Reverse Contact, we got this question: How do we get the most upvotes on our Product Hunt launch through our network?   We don't have a lot of influence on Twitter and Linkedin, so for us it was clear: We need to contact all the Product Hunt Makers who are in our network to announce our Product Hunt launch. Why Makers you might ask? - Well, because as Product Hunt fans, we know average Makers' vote carries more power than a user's vote. But well, I have 5k contacts in my Linkedin network, and 10K contacts in my CRM so how can we quickly find all the Product Hunt Makers without spending 10 days doing time consuming research? That's why we created Maker Hunt for our own needs! Thanks to this tool, we were able to collect about 300 upvotes from Makers and this helped us to be number 1 during the whole launch day. This allowed us to have a lot of visibility on our website but it also helped us to discuss with Makers who gave us a lot of feedback to improve our tool! We are so proud to have succeeded in achieving this result "from scratch" and without influence. It was important for us to make this tool public and accessible to all, so it's 100% FREE. Votes that weigh significantly more in the balance and that can help you reach the podium of the best product of the day.
