You have to get them to download a wallet, find and send their 42-character hexadecimal address, paste their wallet address, transfer the NFT, DM them asking if they got it and then explain how to see it. Yuck We made Maindrop because we believe … • Sending NFTs should be as easy and magical as sending money on Cash App or Venmo. • Receiving an NFT from someone that you know and trust is a good way to on-board people into Web3. • Gifting NFTs is a beautiful application of the blockchain because of the permanence of the transaction. It’s kind of like a heart carved into a tree … the art is the heart, the sender and recipient are the initials, the timestamp is the year and the blockchain is the tree 🥲 We’re just getting started.
