When Maimovie asked me to post, I was happy to oblige. I believe that AI can be awesome when used in the right way. This is one of those ways. As someone that doesn't watch many movies, I can be quite picky. So, instead, I'll be using Maimovie to pick me something when I can't choose. Good work team!

Good day! Congrats on the launch of Maimovie on PH! I was happy to find a service that would help me save time to find an interesting and appropriate movie for me. What inspired you to create it?

@ilyayaroshevichqa So.. the founder of AI keytalk used to work in the Entertainment industry where he would be in meetings where people would argue about who would make the best celebrity ambassador that fit the brand's image. He didn't think it was right for a couple of people in a meeting room to decide who was the "cutest", "most talented" etc. A few years later, he built an AI that analyzes the semantics of enormous user review data (including noisy data like Twitter) that generates real-time rankings :)
