MacScribe: The Easy Way to Transcribe Any Audio or Video on Your Mac

The story behind MacScribe: my wife uses Otter.ai to transcribe videos but it was super inconvenient because she needs to play the video and wait until it completes. We found online services such as https://transcript.lol/ but they are super expensive, and honestly she just needs the raw transcripts without summarization. So she suggested I develop a macOS app that she could use to quickly transcribe any Youtube video, but also audio and video recordings she has from her practice.
